Ok, whats up with the rebirth of the cupcake craze?  It seems as if everywhere I turn, I have been seeing cupcakes!  SNL gave a shout out to Magnolia Bakery and their cupcakes in their music video skit "Lazy Sunday".  There is even a tee shirt company named after the delicious treat called Johnny Cupcakes.  When it come to NYC cupcakes, hell you have tons to chose from.  Some of the hottest spots to check out have to be Magnolia Bakery and Sugar Sweet Sunshine.  But if you ask me where to go.  I am gonna suggest you check out Crumbs.  They have very different cupcakes, more specialized to fit your cravings.  They have monster cupcakes like Snikers, Boston Cream, Reeses Peanut Butter Cup, Hostess, Oreo, Banana Slit, and of course the classic Butter Cream.   They even have a cupcake named after and created by Artie Lange.

Personally I think these are the best cupcakes in NYC.  Not only are they ginormous but their wide variety will definitely fulfill your sweet tooth.
