Kee's Chocolates started off in 2002 as one tiny store on Thompson St where they both hand made and sold their chocolates.   They were so popular, that in 2007 they bought the store front next door and now they hand make the chocolate in the original store and the new building is the retail shop.  They uses fresh exotic ingredients and are consently changing their menu to keep this place a very unique sweet spot.

I took these photos at 9am and Kee and two others were busy hand-making chocolates for the day.  This place is closed on Mondays but is open Tue. - Fri. from 9am - 7pm and Sat and Sun from 11am - 7pm.  You better write down 80 Thompson St. New York, Soho because these lil gems are exclusively sold at this location.

What is great about these truffles are their unique coatings like their truffles covered in wide variety of nuts or even black sesame.  Or how about trying out their seasonal delights like the Pineapple Lychee (dark chocolate truffle with pineapple and lychee)  Or try their Yuzu piece, which they use fresh yuzu from Japan with white chocolate ganache.  This is the best chocolate place to go if you are willing to try out new and interesting chocolate flavors.  Be ready to spend a lil cash for that sweet tooth because these things are $2 a pop and even with a box a 24 you don't even get a discount!  Thats because they are well worth every penny. If chocolates are not your thing.  They also have a wide variety of macaroons as well.  If you are ever in the neighborhood you have to stop by and try one.  Trust me you will be screaming for more.
